Volunteering and Accessibility
Solfest is committed to being an accessible festival for all to enjoy. The location and site poses its challenges given its rural location with its hillsides and green grazing fields but we want to do everything that we can to make the festival as accessible as it can be. In 2023/24 we will be working with Attitude is Everything to help us to achieve this.
We welcome volunteer applications from everyone. There are an exciting variety of roles and we are happy to make reasonable adjustments where we can to accommodate different needs. Please email crew@solfest to discuss this further.
The crew camp site has an Accessible Crew Camp area with an Accessible toilet and access to a Water Point. This is situated at the top end of the field where the ground is more level and closer to crew catering and the Volunteer Hub.
Also take a look at accessible facilities on site by visiting the Accessibility at Solfest page on our website.
DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT FOR VOLUNTEERING?
To volunteer at the festival, a deposit of £90 is required to show your commitment. This will be refunded to you at the festival after you have completed all your shifts. If you have any queries about paying a deposit please contact us at crew@Solfest.co.uk.
HOW/WHEN DO I GET MY DEPOSIT BACK?
Deposits will be refunded to you at the festival after you have completed all your shifts.
